Toy Figures Beginner Collectors Guide: Nendoroids or Figma? Ft. Blackrock Shooter Series 

Seeing your last side by side shoot from 4:00 makes me realize that nendoroid's big head really help highlighting the character's expression. Nice video.

One think I learned about the Black rock shooter figmas is don't try to collect them all. There is WAY too many variations of the same characters and I'm not going down that rabbit whole; price would add up quickly and it would take up way too much space to display them for such a short series. (Plus I think in 2022/2023 there may be new Figmas for the new BRS TV show that is scheduled to air in 2022) So I just got one variation of each character; my favorite variation. I have Black Rock Shooter Beast, Strength OVA version, Dead Master OVA version, Black Gold Saw OVA Version, Chariot, and Black Rock Shooter Insane. Figmas are expensive, especially for popular character. Even with Saber, I only got my favor version of her. I like Fate Zero out of all of them so I got her in her suit rather than in her standard Armor.

I like both, I collect both, but I think that the Nendo style fits only with some characters or when there is not a Figma version for the character, rarely there is a Nendo who is better than the Figma

Not fond of super deformed body proportions if it's not accurate to the character, so I'd go with Figma.

I haven't bought a new figma in years. Maybe since like 2013. But you're right, the base price for them have pretty much rose to AT LEAST like $60 for most of them.

In my country, nendoroid are verxy expensive than the figma one, the merchant is adding more price because the delay of pre ordering nendoroid 😂 so i can buy 2 figma instead 1 nendoroid, trust me hahaha

Figmas as they are way cooler as they look just like the characters. I don't even bother with nendroids unless you're a person who is into the chibi look
