I've been buying vintage MOTU lots in the wild for about 5 years now and one of the first big lots I ever found had a Castle Grayskull box as well as a Talon Fighter Point Dread box - both in super nice condition. The only thing is the original owner had colored in all the figures on the back of the boxes. Since then I've found the boxes for Spydor, Panthor, Battle Bones and Wind Raider (8 back & not creased). I'm more of a loose figure collector, but I totally agree that the artwork on the vehicle and playset boxes is so well done that it's worth owning the boxes for them for displaying purposes.

I'm certain that I speak for many that would say there can never be too many slime videos. 🤣

So funny, I grew up watching GI joe and saw some older earlier toys but you and I are almost the same age and I didn’t collect joe until the 90s too and we had a lot of the same figures lol, I had the ‘92 Joe HQ and that was probably my fave toy of all time cuz it’s was the first big play set that was bought for me and I got a lot of use out of it, MOTU is my fave property and I had some motu and played with them b4 I got into Joe’s and I had a Grayskull and snake mountain but they were hand me downs and didn’t have any accessories
It’s always nice finding toys from our childhood in such pristine condition I would have gotten both of them myself, nice score on that snake mountain and slime pit!
If you can, you should compare the Origins Grayskull box to the Vintage, looks like they tried to copy some of the figure and interior images on the original when they made the new one.
18:03 when searching through the gi Joe's there's a garurumon to weregarurumon in the bin behind and damn I want that. I gotta keep an eye out for when I go to my next con.
I have a sealed slime for my slime pit as well. I dont regret buying it at all, but kids love slime, and I've had at least 2 cousins go WOW! SLIME! CAN WE OPEN IT!? .... lol No, for reasons that will make no sense to you, that slime is worth more than every toy you have.

Oh my god I used to have that Payload figure. No idea what happened to him. I used to have the later release of Battle Hopper too, I used Payload as it's pilot. That's gone too. Found the antenna for it somewhere though.

You went berserk on those boxed MOTU playsets, you're "lucky" they didn't had a boxed Eternia, a boxed Fright Zone and boxed Crystal Castle otherwise you would've walked home naked, barefooted and without a single cent in your wallet (actually you wouldn't have a wallet).

I had those kenner figure maker molds. They were honestly really cool, and I wish they had done more of the cast. EDIT: Also had a lot of Z-Bots! Absolutely loved those.

What camera do you use Dan? I want to get back into YouTubing and want something that shows me the picture it's recording while I make vids, be it on a tripod or one of those cam sticks.
