Sorry I'm late. LOL. Just got one of these, but it had no sound, so, just waiting for it's replacement to come. I like the mods you selected. I'm considering improving the marquee lighting. They only have one strip of LEDS edge lighting the top of the marque, unfortunately. Thanks for the basic mod video. :)

Now if for any reason it arrives with creases in it - use the old hair dryer trick, although they are rolled up in a tube I think mine got knocked around I had a crease in mine had to use a hairdryer after it was applied to work the crease out, happens a lot with graphics so I didn't mention it in the video - I think people expect it.
@@PDubsArcadeLoft Oh, thanks for the tip! :) I've been bloody lucky with the graphics I've applied to my A1UP risers, thus far. Knocking on wood. But I did accidentally crease one, during installation. didn't know about the hair dryer trick, though. Just had to very slowly rework it, with a towel, and rubber straight edge.
Just got my bezel graphic in, today. It was cut about a quarter inch wider than the physical bezel, on both side, so there's an 8th inch strip of bezel showing, next to the monitor, and a bit of wrap-over on the sides. Length wise, they got it spot on. Only have a couple of tiny wrinkles on the edges, which I'll attack with your hair dryer trick. Otherwise, there are no bubbles, or obvious creases. I did opt to leave my bezel silvery/gray, to match the top rails of the commercial version of Haunted House. Did consider going with black, as yours does also look very cool, dressed in black. Haven't done the speaker mod, yet, although the new speakers arrived a few days ago.
Hey Thomas! Sounds like the 'cut' on your graphic was off a bit - I'm sure Dan over at Escape Pod could've fixed that, he is a solid dude! The Hair Dryer trick worked for me getting wrinkles out, Trimming Bezels going around Monitors (especially Arcade1Up monitors) is a pain - one mistake and you'll never stop looking at it. You'll like having better speakers in there, gives it some more oomph. Recommend Solder the speakers if you know how otherwise you can do the method shown in the video.
@@PDubsArcadeLoft Indeed. I just didn't think it worth bothering him over such a small error. It still came out nicely. I did just realize the speakers I ordered are exactly the same size called for in my Gameroomsolutions V-pin kit, a mid sized model, about the same size as the Toyshock machine. Guess I'll have to order another set. LOL Yeh, soldering would make for a much better connection.. By the way, did the clicking sounds go away, on your Haunted House, with the new speakers? Still don't have the speakers installed on mine.
I want one. I'm thinking about getting the Gen 2 version. All I know is that I will have a digital pinball machine in my arcade room. I couldn't say that last year.

These things are clearly playing a modified version of Pinball Arcade with a limited number of tables. I wonder if there’s someway to unlock it to play all the tables available on that software platform considering I have it on practically every device I own including the iPhone I’m typing this on…

I've missed a bunch of the vids from everybody lately, been busy at work and also playing a lot of red dead online, and boy you content creators sure can create a LOT of content! I like the speaker mod. Do You know whether they will have that improved plunger available to us lucky buyers who got the Limited Edition Silver Bezel version? 😝
Hi PDUB...Did the speakers use the same factory wires that attached the original speakers?...And did u have to change or do anything else to get the speakers to work?
OLDSERIDER78 so the factory wire connectors are soldered on to the original speakers so you have to cut the wires to remove them. From there I installed new speakers with new wires/connectors and used wiretaps to vampire into the original speaker power cable. I can post some pics on my Facebook just got to Facebook.com/pdubsarcadeloft and I’ll put some up sometime this weekend.
@@PDubsArcadeLoft I had the same question as OLD - the video where you spliced into the speaker wires was too dark to see how you did that. I have the speakers bought, but confused a bit on how to get the new ones reconnected with one of the speakers have more than 2 wires soldered to it. Very much would appreciate some pictures if possible as I think the speaker swap out will make a big difference. Kind of a newbie at this so apologize for the more detailed questions.
Same kind of graphic that you would.put on the side of an Arcade1up machine or any arcade machine. Vinyl bezel comes rolled up in a tube and you have to put it on slowly with a felt squeegee
