I was lucky enough to live in West Germany as a child in the early ‘80s. Always the attention to details and small parts that would never be offered in the States. I especially loved my Playmobil Space sets!
Playmobil is a German brand and for me as a German, that was my childhood! I remember playing with Knight and Egypt sets at a very young age. Beautiful memories... Unfortunately, I no longer have most of my former collection. At some point I outgrew Playmobil. But the Ghostbusters line brought me back because I'm a big fan of the movies. I've had all the sets for a long time now, except the Firehouse, but I was finally able to order it today. I'm looking forward to finally having a garage for my Ecto-1. 😄
It's funny when I was a kid my parents bought me Playmobil and I wasn't a huge fan. I liked it but I loved Lego and other sets way more (even as a child I just thought playmobil was for babies). Now as an adult I am loving these sets especially the Ghostbuster sets. Definitely the best replicas you can get on the toy market. They are even better in my opinion than the Kenner toys. I love the Firehouse and I just picked up and assembled the Ecto 1. Definitely two super cool sets.
When i was a little boy i wasn t interested in Playmobile. I was more a Lego guy but i have to say they have/had cool sets. With the Ghostbusters licence i might buy some of it. With this German company you Always have quallity in your hand/room to collect and or play with. Also because they have the Ghosbusters license this toybrand is back on the worldwide map

+TheReviewSpot Nothing much, actually. I wanted to ask...do you know a person named Kopke613? He lives in Canada, but I don't think he lives near your neck of the woods.
