Excellent kit & review. Figured it'd be a no-brainer to make an official headmaster M.A.S.K. series of Transformers but for now this is the next best thing.

The addition of the battle mode is truly next level, it's perfectly convincing as a deployable gimmick too. Love it.

It really amazes me how Toyhax takes it to the next level, No 5 pack that only has one worth figure is now a 5-pack that can be made worthy of a 5 pack.

Ellecent video, Prime and an amazing idea! Loved it, would love to see more conversions. Also loved the use of the MASK theme at the start of the video.

Very neat. I was always curious about these types of upgrades/mods, and this one I feel gels well with the classic design of the stickers of the time. I also liked how you kept saying you have options, it reminded me of that crazy sizzler Pomo video.

That is such a cool little conversion kit. We need more kits like that honestly.

That's a surprisingly Juggernaut looking helmet to come along with this set. Very bulky, and thuggish. Perfect for a Decepticon henchman.

This is amazing. Love the helmet ingenuity. Had this M.A.S.K. vehicle as a kid and am bummed I didnt have the foresight to hold onto it! Thunderhawk / Tracks/RoadRage next!

Now I want a full line of MASK Transformers crossovers. Edit: they could even come out with small pilots that are Titanmaster sized as a core class multipack. I don't even care if the helmets come off, it would just be cool

I'm tempted to get a Trailbreaker just for this. It would go well with the Outlaw I made from the Fans Hobby Nemesis Prime stuff, Toyhax made a Snake Oil sticker set for the G2 Black Convoy oil tanker trailer.

I ordered this kit for my autobot 5 pack Trailbreaker because it is so cool and I already have the original Trailbreaker. I wish Hasbro release a new MASK collection soon since I only had a few when I was a kid!!!

This is a perfect set for my Earthrise Trailbreaker, more than it is for animation accurate Legacy Trailbreaker. I like the new Trailbreaker better.

This is really ironic, because my first thought seeing the Earthrise Trailbreaker was that it was a dead ringer for Jackhammer. The toy hacks weapons conversion with the add on helmet is actually really clever. I like how if you have two of them, the original is perfect for Incognito/disguise mode. Owning the original toy I like the accuracy of most of the stickers provided, and how the hand weapon completely represents the turret mode which originally was also a bit of parts forming as the gun stored beneath the pop up turret in disguise mode.

Seriously getting me to reconsider getting a second set of these dudes (definitely not gonna pay after market prices for Earthrise Trailbreaker lol)

Just ordered a set! Very cool. I think I might do up the the other 2 (Jazz and Wheeljack) into a couple new characters as well. Their sets look great.

Would this set work on an Earthrise Trailbreaker? I think the all black colors on Earthrise would go better with decals than gray Legacy Trailbreaker. Thoughts?

I'm semi unimpressed tbh and it comes down to a half-hearted add-on kit that's come with it. For starters the Torch Mask should have had a blast effect slot on the top and centre of the mask with a flame blast effect supplied with it. Secondly they should have made it so the sensor could be modded to a second turret. Thirdly there should have been a clip on turret, possibly doubling as a second hand weapon, do simulate Jackhammer's front guns. I appreciate the intention, but this set feels like it needed another design revision before being released.

This is a great Toyhax upgrade set for this mold, no doubt about it...! Awesome ideaand very well executed... Personally, if I had a duplicate Earthrise Traibreaker figure in black, I'd much rather use this set to upgrade that figure than the gray "toon accurate" version... Not because I prefer the cartoon gray, because I DON'T, but because I think it's more suited to the original version in black... Definitely would give a more sinister vibe, I think. Now, while I certainly appreciate the M.A.S.K. helmet and driver homages in bot mode, I still probably wouldn't use the helmet, as I think the factory head sculpt with the decal upgrade looks more suitable to my tastes, and I find the helmet looking a bit too bulky... But, like I said, I definitely appreciate the Homages of both! I still actually have my Jackhammer vehicle one of just a very few that I still have, although I am wishing that I'd have kept a few more... The use of the mask as the way to utilize the battle mode look in vehicle mode, is very clever, and THAT I would definitely be happy to display...! That really looks so awesome! I was really hoping, several years ago, when Hasbro released Matt Tracker as part of the 25th-50th Anniversary of the 3 3/4" GI JOE line, and then did the SDCC exclusive boxed set with ROM, Visionaries, M.A.S.K. and Joes all in that scale, that maybe we could get a couple of cool M.A.S.K toylines/homages where Cobra directly funded V.E.N.O.M. and had that organization as an offshoot to develop new vehicles and weaponry for Cobra, using the stolen technology from the Transformers... And M.A.S.K., obviously becoming a sub-group to GI JOE, led by Matt Tracker, under General Hawk's authority, to do the same for GI JOE, and become their own combat unit... They could be their own thing, for those who didn't necessarily collect GI JOE, but loved the M.A.S.K. toys and concepts and could get them in a modern format with bigger vehicles, better articulation, and more play/display options... For the Transformers though, it would be the HEADMASTER theme on a larger scale, not size wise, but like Titans Return scale, where the vehicle/characters, like this Jackhammer would be the bot using the Traibreaker mold and colors, and the Headmaster would be the driver character, and each Driver/Headmaster would have a tiny helmet to plug the head into, for a more iconic M.A.S.K. driver look for play/display in their alt battle modes... So, basically, I was hoping for 2 distinct M.A.S.K. options as linked to GI Joe and the Transformers lines. I would have been 💯% IN on BOTH lines, without question because I've always been a big fan and collector of both GI JOE & TRANSFORMERS... Ironically, while I don't mind that GI JOE & the TRANSFORMERS have crossovers and interact, I'm actually NOT a fan of the current X-Over figures they've been putting out... 🤔🤷🤷 But DAMN! Would I love to see a 3 3/4" scale M.A.S.K. transfer truck (don't remember the name), with the battle features...! That would be freaking awesome! Hasbro is really great at making action figures and reusing/repainting/retooling figure and vehicle molds to make a quick buck at our expense, but they're EVEN BETTER at missing opportunities to basically print money from nostalgia... I mean, M.A.S.K./Joes, TRANSFORMERS/GOBOTS, M.A.S.K./Headmasters, as just a few quick examples of easy money, as well as the Autobot/Decepticon Cassette repaint opportunities... but they'd prefer to sit on their hands instead of making money, I suppose. 🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷 Anyway, loved the review and the cool Toyhax upgrades for the figure. Awesome stuff, brother!
