No sir I wish I could help ya. I've spent approx. $2000 changing parts. Timing kit , distributor, you name it. Sensors , etc. Afraid it's a MONEYPIT. It's at a mechanics ( so called ) now for 2 months. Same results. I'm bout sick of throwing money at it. May be good anchor material. IF you get resolved , pls. Advise ! Good Luck !!!
Fist thing i can tell you is I'm having the same issue, but i did crack open the banjo bolt under the fuel regulator and manually turned on the fuel pump till gas started to leak out to get most of the air bubble out of the line and seems to help, next im going to order new bango bolt washers to make a good seal. 👍
FYI, it's called a Fuel Damper...middle back of engine attached to fuel rail. They leak sometimes. Make sure you don't buy cheap imports which have innate design flaw and will leak too. I'm looking forward to watching the ground wire video...fingers crossed it's my issue too
Dude , I've a 95 4runner, 3.0 EXACT SAME PROBLEM. NO FUEL past injectors. Removed the fuel pressure regulator completely and eyeballed the fuel filling the rail at that point. Checking injectors is next ??? Ohms,? 16, 17. ?? If you had any success, pls. Share . Thx.
I had a similar issue but it was the ignition excitor and you said you had spark. If the spark is weak it might cause an issue. If you had a fuel pressure gauge see if it is enough to run the SUV.
My 1995 4runner is doing the exact same thing. Including being a money pit. It will turn over , run 2-3 seconds, then , just like you turn the key off , but , not. Good luck to ya. If you have any info to share would be greatly appreciated 😊.
Buy the book. Will literally save u thousands. Actually, the injectors are governed by voltage which allows the pulse from each injector to remain in rhythm with the crankshaft , omg, Ive been forced to learn things about the thing I cant forget. Did u get it going ??
I just rebuilt mine it started the other day without a radiator or a fan so I put those on and was waiting for nice weather so I could fill the radiator up with water so it wouldn't freeze and now it doesn't start I've redone vacuum hoses and messed with timing and still just cranks it is getting fuel cause the spark plugs are wet after it cranking but I'm stuck
@@4runnerManco well just my personal experience I have owned 17 Toyotas in my lifetime and my 4Runner with the 3.0 was not reliable at all only yota motor to let me sit multiple times
