This by far is one of my favorite AE86 films, no sponsors, no hype, just a guy being happy with his 86 and enjoying himself. Its my favorite car as well and its made me want to buy one even more after watching this and seeing what a fun little car they are.

It's really hard to not mention Initial D when you're talking about the AE86, but you did it so subtly at the end. Unless you actually wear New Balances like those, then i'm just seeing what I want to see.
No tengo palabras para describir lo que me ha gustado el video, ojalá en un futuro te puedas comprar otro coche tan especial como esos dos que tienes y hagas un video similar, necesitamos en España gente que haga este tipo de cosas, que rabia me ha dado que tu voz se escucha más baja que la música y que el sonido del motor, aunque de esto ultimo no me voy a quejar. +LeHazy. Channel That's quite pedantic man. For all intensive purposes, they're pretty much the same car. If you tell me, hey this car has the same chassis and same transmission, same rear diff, same suspension parts, same wiring, same almost everything except changed a tiny bit to be able to sell it to the US market at the time, and it performs pretty much the same. What's the point in calling it anything different? Why even make the distinction?
I drove this car, when it was used and 15 years already. I didn't know it had so much following until recently. I had opportunity to drive this car for a year, until I returned it to a owner who came back from overseas, which was up to me to buy it then, but it didn't happen for personal reasons. I had a joy driving it. It was fun to push it and simplistic interior was so much warmth to it for some strange reason. I don't and can't explain what was that magic when I was driving it everyday for year. Everything was intuitive inside and manually operated but with logical placement and clear. Wasn't powerful but gearing was right on, always, and easily fit. Of many dozen cars I drove this was very memorable. May be it was sound also, which did not drone my nerves and coupled with intimate feelings it exuded.
So basically.. He is the true car enthusiast. I mean.. No matter what you drive, if you feel the emotions with your car and you can do amazing things with it.. You must be very happy man. I want 86. I need to have one. Screw all the 911 and GTRs.. 86 is the way to go.
"No corre nada, pero quiero uno". Me encanta esa filosofía... Acabo de hacerme con un BMW 318i de 130 CV. No corre mucho, pero tampoco tengo manos para sacarle el potencial. Sin embargo tiene 3 cosas que enamoran: cambio manual, tracción trasera y motor atmosférico.
everyone that asks me "why did you get a corolla from the 80's? why not get something newer" (ill even get this from enthusiasts) and before i even answer, this video comes on my phone. i love my HachiRoku, it was my first car, and it will defiantly always be with me. the experiences and things i have learned from this car will never be forgotten. i strongly suggest that if you are interested in the AE86, get one. because once you drive it you will be bitten by the "AE86 bug" and thats something that you will never be able to lose.
I have only owned two cars in my 8 years of driving. A Charger and a BMW which are both automatics. Learning a manual gear box will be the day I can afford to get a third car, it will be a manual stick shift Toyota Carolla, or more specifically it's Japanese cousin (AE86 Trueno). I love this classic car and the entire culture surrounding it.
Increíble la frase de tu amigo, No corre nada pero quiero uno. Casualmente yo tengo un coche que me pasa lo mismo, no corre mucho pero para mí tiene algo especial que me enamora. En mi día a día llevo coches más del doble de potentes que ese mio del que hablo (evidentemente no al nivel de los de tu amigo) pero que no me terminan de llenar como si lo hace uno de los míos. En mi caso es un golf GTI mk2 con 112cv y menos de 1000kg que compre en el año 2006 y que a día de hoy me sigue sacando una sonrisa cada vez que me subo en el. El Toyota debe ser mucho más divertido aún, sigue disfrutandolo así Jorge, espero verlo algún dia. Un saludo y felices fiestas!
La verdad es que es una realidad que el AE86 es un carro muy versátil, honestamente en los juegos de conducción muy rara vez lo usaba para lo típico que lo llegaban a estereotipear, de verdad este auto en ciertos juegos de conducción es una experiencia muy bonita. A mi me encantaría manejar uno en la vida real y sentir las misma sensaciones que sentía, pero ojo. La verdad es que este auto en los juegos no lo modificaba, de verdad me encantaba escucharlo con su motor de serie y sus características que lo hacen un coche único. De verdad en la vida real conducir uno stock es algo que desearía demasiado.
