It all worked up until pulling the key out and pressing the buttons to get the lock to operate and that doesn't work. Update: fixed mine now the problem was the battery in the remote the ones I got must have been faulty. Got new battery from B and Q and it works great.
does this also work with the immobilizer? my remote broke, or at least the buttons on it, so i ordered a complete new one, but now the immobilizer doesn’t let me start the car, even tho i have this little black ceramic thing in it
Hey, thanks for the video! I have managed to loose my original remote on a run and then within a week (before I made a new spare) the transponder chip fell out of my spare. So now my car is stuck at the parking lot at work (not the safest place). I got two new blank remotes and cut them to the spare. I even got the cable to connect the car to my laptop and a licence for Toyota Techstream. But I'm afraid I won't be able to do anything without a key that has a transponder already "paired" to the car / immobilizer. Do you think I can pull it off somehow? I'm moving house and really don't have £240 to spare at the moment... Many thanks (I'm buying a pint whenever you're in Sheffield! :D )
Great video There is another key fob that look like original litttle bigger that selling in aliexpress and there the seller offer no chip or h chip or g chip and there is no explation on the chip. I can take the no chip?
PRESS and release both LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the remote transmitter. PRESS and release LOCK button on the remote. Then do exactly the same using the 2nd key, during the same process.
Hi I've recently purchased a new 2 button remote for citroen c1 09 reg from Amazon, and it doesn't seem to work using the door open, close programming shown in your tutorial. Can you suggest some where I can purchase a 2 button key to programme. Kind regards Darren
Hi, did you figure out the answer to ID 46 or ID 70? I'm now having the same question. The internet mostly suggests ID 70. Although, with my little experience, I can't be sure about it except if I buy the ID 70 chip and try it myself..
You know this is just to re sync the remote right? It has nothing to do with key coding. The chip would be ID70 p.33, p.53, or p.83 depending on what key position. All aygo, C1 and 107s are the same in this year range. Definitely not ID46
@@Cityautolocksmith803 Thanks for your reply. I'm trying to gain knowledge. Right now I have the two original keys. One controlling the doors remotely, the other (spare) key is just with the transponder chip. I want to use the transponder chip from the spare key on a new key with a ID70 chip/logic board. From what I read on the internet, this procedure might work to program a new key with an existing transponder chip but with a new ID70 chip/logic board. Is this incorrect? What does the p.33, p.53 and p.83 refer to in your message? And last thing, I know for Toyota there's a cheap way to program keys through software with mini VCI cable, it's called Techstream. Do you know if this software is compatible with Peugeot 107? It doesn't provide Peugeot 107 in the list of models. However, I was wondering if it would work if one selects Toyota Aygo in that software due to the citybug cars coming from the same factory. Do you think this will work? Do you have a similar software for Peugeot 107? I'm sorry for all these questions, I'm trying to understand the process well. I want to make myself happy with a 'flip' key upgrade.
Also, if you're taking the key out of ignition to press the button, don't. Likewise if your not taking it out then try with it out. Some cars require key in and some require key out
