To date, Toyota has sold over 70 million electrified vehicles, but most of these have been hybrids. The bZ4X mid-sized SUV is the brand's first purpose-built EV. Since its engineering draws on over two decades of electrified automotive experience, you'd expect it to be a very complete product indeed.

This is a great vehicle with the update im getting 380+ kms on a charge. Charging speed is not an issue as i charge my bz4x overnight. The 10 year warranty is best in class

Waiting for my BZ4 to be delivered been told its just arrived at Ellesmere Port so should be with me in East Sussex in about 4 weeks , have ordered the 4WD model

Toyota Bz4x has good operability and excellent assisted driving, but its charging and battery life need to be improved. I bought the long battery life version of FAW Toyota and ran for 20,000 kilometers. What's the big problem? Slow charging is the biggest problem.

Hi, I have tested BZ4X twice so far. Everything about the car is great. But it consumes a lot and the battery runs out very quickly. Since you have a good relationship with Toyota, I would like you to forward this feedback so that the cars can be updated and the problem fixed.

7 months later it proves to be one of the worst new EVs offered in 2023. One of the lowest, slowest DC and even AC charging.

The car is a disaster. takes 5 hours to charge to 100%. Only takes 2 charges a day. Ugly, shiny plastic fenders. They are ten yrs. behind Tesla!

Wrong! With the upgrade fast charging is now 3.86 (say 4) times a day.

The dual motor version has a slow charging speed, about 1/3 slower than the single motor version. Based on MotorBiscuit, it’s b3cause Toyota thinks the owner will charge at home, hence slow charging.

It needs a rear window wiper, bigger boot, faster charging, longer range, lower price, modern interior and decide it’s a Subaru or Toyota.
