Looks great just the way it is, keep that middle strip White which gives it a little contrast and makes the grill pop. 👍. ..I have a 2017, same color, we love it.
Looks great man gonna try this weekend on my 18’ grey XLE AWD .. I have the roof rack I’m also gonna go with 1 1/2” lift with some all terrain tires wait for it to see how it comes out
Leave it white i’ve got a 2018 silver Highlander limited and I put on the bug deflector on top to break up the chrome i’ve got runningboards and tinted love it
Leave it. Gives it contrast. Also can you do a ride quality video like over trails or bumpy terrain? I would like to know your opinion on the ride quality.
Thank you for taking the extra time to make this video and showing your mods. I really like what you did. I have a question about my stock grill. Have a ‘17. I need to replace the lower bumper cover. All black plastic piece. Do you believe the entire front needs to be removed to replace that piece? Or do you think I can sneak it out and the new one back in? Thank you again!
Thanks for a great video. I am doing the complete LED thing from Lasfit right now. Then I need to get the bumper painted since the rock chips have destroyed it with only 20k miles and I will be doing the black out just like you are doing. Plus, I need to have the white paint covered with a clear bra. I may even have to get a new bumper with how badly the rock chips have left my bumper. I should have let Toyota do it when they offered.
Thank you! I have been wanting to personalize my '19 Highlander (talked my hubby into doing it). Just purchased a new black upper and lower grill (I wish I would have seen this video first!) and now wanting to get the LED sequential turn signals. Judging from this video and your video on the signals, I'm assuming it would be best to do the signals and the grill at the same time, correct? I don't want to push my luck with the hubby and get him too frustrated!
That’s correct no sense on doing it twice. You can knock out two birds with one stone 😉. Thanks for watching & let me know how this turns out for you guys!
@@JJBanuelos Hello again! We are having some issues! Not with the bumper but with the lights. I'm thinking the problem is that I have a Hybrid. So the lights go on but do not shut off and they are only yellow! Any words of advise???
Can you remove the chrome piece without removing the entire bumper? Why not reach behind it with a short handle flat head to pop the pins off the chrome pieces, is that that possible?
