When my first key fob warning came on several months ago, I immediately switched to my spare to avoid being caught short with a dead key fob, and eventually bought replacement batteries with the intention of replacing the batteries in both fobs. But I was intimidated by the process because I've never had a key fob before and I procrastinated so long that my second key fob warning came on today! 🤦♀Thanks to this absolutely PERFECT video, I had the confidence to stop procrastinating and I switched out both fobs with fresh batteries! It may not seem like a lot, but this helped me more than I can say, so THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Thank you SO much! I thought I was going to have to spend LOTS of money at the dealership just to replace the battery, but because of this tutorial, it cost me less than $6 and less than 5 minutes.
@FobBattery thanks for providing this precious video. i'm a pylon when it comes to mechanical work, but you did a great job of making the battery replacement so easy. and equally as important, i didn't panic and run to the dealer. cost me under $10 CAD and less than 5 minutes to changeover. cheers from southern ontario 🍁
I wish that the car did not have a FOB. I wish that the car had a regular key. Thank you for your video. My car (even after a replace the battery) says battery week, replace it. Your video helped my to put the FOB back together properly. If I had a regular key, none of this would be needed.
The battery in my 2004 Accord key fob lasted 17 years. My Corolla key fob battery is less than 5 years old and needs replacement. Is that a typical lifespan?
