These instructions were perfect and thank you for making a task that seemed insurmountable easy to do. I thought that I was going to have to return to the Dealer for help, and it was great that I could follow these instructions and do it myself. Good video, but my 2019 Corolla key fob looks very much different from that one. It's not a vertical "line" of buttons, it's a grid of 4 buttons. The interior part does not just fall out, it has to be extracted, and then subsequently it (the inner "chamber") has to be pried open in order to get to the battery. Oh, also, it wants a 2016, not a 2032.
1. This video says nothing about whether the key fob needs programming after the battery change. Many older Corolla key fobs must go through an elaborate song and dance routine in the car to reactivate. 2. 2032 batteries are widely available at Dollar Tree; often two for a $1.

I think i left it without a battery long enough that it lost it's programming.
