4:15 I don’t know why but I find this adorable 🥰 It looks sporty without looking angry and I totally see what you mean about those chamfers around the headlights! At 4:15, you can see how the shadows play around with them (along with the rest of the car). It definitely has an expressive look that I like; and I’m an Audi guy that’s very particular about how lines flow as well. Keep up the great work and thank you for all of this amazing content. I just realized something when you drew the lines pointing to the logo... Corolla by definition is the arrangement of the petals of a flower. Kinda makes a flower shape there if you fully draw it out.

at the first look the design seems incoherent and tortured but day after day you realise that those lines are full of originality ..............the japanese phylososhy to draw a unique gt shape. COOL COMBINATION.

@18:20, the curb weight of the FL5 is less than the GRC. 3097 lbs vs 3252 lbs. Please fact check before spouting random false info. And so 0-60 is faster in the GRC due to all wheel drive

i miss the old redesigns

We almost bought a Core Edition with Performance Pkg and Technology Pkg in Supersonic Red(also white) at MSRP but ultimately passed on them because the FL5 Civic Type R just felt more special and had more rear seat and cargo space to haul the kids around. We don't live in the mountains where we would encounter snow regularly, so AWD wasn't a requirement. You really can't go wrong with either car. These are probably the last of the ICE-powered hot hatches and are future classics!

The only thing I have against it is, the BIG OPEN mouth grill! Get rid of that, and Toyota would get me to buy one. They also need to bring back the color "Speedway Blue"
