Toyota Highlander Lifted 

Yeah that's my buddy, we grew up together working on cars, racing, high school, and more. He has come a long way and he deserves every bit of what you see. Extraordinary man that I'm honored to call my friend. His setup definitely helped out a ton, I would've been sweating b*lls at my house. Thanks a lot, they do make one for the 2015 but this exact kit is only for the 4th GEN.

The ride feels pretty much exactly the same, I wouldn't say the body roll is improved but not significantly worse. The benefits far outweigh anything from the factory. If you go on back roads or forest roads then you will absolutely feel the boost in confidence. For me it is well worth the upgrade.

17" will give you a slightly bigger tire size but not much. You will also have a bigger selection of tires to choose from with bigger sidewalls. Keep 18s will allow you to not have to buy rims so it's more cost efficient. Biggest I'd go with 18s is 255/65/18s. With 17s the bigger you can go is 255/70/17s or maybe 245/75/17s. You're only getting .5" extra overall diameter which translates to only .25" height gain but you get more sidewall. I went with the cheaper option and my gas mileage dropped to 22.3 mpg.

@@marvin86047 yeah the body looks aggressive for street driving but not for adventuring. Still very capable all around.

@@jcstroble91 I got the tire and then the lift, but if you do the lift first then the gap in the wheel well will be more significant and you'll need to do more trips to the tire/alignment shop when/if you eventually get tires.

I’m also real curious if the lane centering feature was disrupted with the lift.

@@jcstroble91 oh I see what your asking, the tires did fit without the lift with slight rubbing when turning. Nothing serious just plastic front inner wheel well rubbed at 45°. Again nothing serious but it all fit. I have some pics with the Highlander without the lift and with the tires on.

@@jcstroble91 the lane centering and cruise control still work perfectly with lift/tires and without the lift and just tires!
