You don't need to. It's charged by the engine. It's not a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) which has a much bigger battery. In Hycross and Hyryder hybrids, the electric motor's batteries are much smaller (and perfect for its intended application in our conditions) and are charged by the engine. Hope this helps 😃
