@@kw8757 No, still another couple of months it seems. Just spoke to the dealer a few days ago. He said if you order one now you have to wait 18-22 months!!!
Love this vehicle. A proper utility vehicle. Even if you don't go off road that much, Land Cruisers are reliable and tough. The new one looks like a welcome evolution rather than a rethink (I used to buy these for an organisation I worked for).
Just wondering, what did your organisation do? If you don't want to tell that's fine. Just thought that it you bought these for your organisation, the job must be intense, but with the Landcrusier it makes it easier.
It's fast enough for me. Most people want really fast cars which in my opinion ends up claiming their lives. I personally wouldn't want to race at a ridiculous speed only to end up as a corpse
Curtis Mendy This car is perfectly fast enough. A big comfortable cruiser, capable of anything and would feel safe in all weathers. Id just get better tyres. You can now get AT tyres that are quiet on tarmac now as well, the best of both worlds. No need for winter tyres if you do that.
The presenter claims there's a rear diff lock on this top of the range model. But the close up centre console shot reveals a blank button under the centre diff lock button. If this Prado indeed has a rear diff lock, then that's where the on/off button should be located. So, does the top Uk model have a rear diff lock? Or maybe it only has a rear LSD instead? In that case, of cause there's no need for an on/off button on the centre console.
lovice if this is the invincible model (top) there should indeed be a rear diff lock, but as you point out there is no button for it. It should also have sat Nav but there is no fin at the back in the exterior shots. I suspect this is an Icon with the off-road pack. Slight anomaly to this is wood trim on the wheel, which is an invincible feature, and there is a shot of a sat nav screen. I think there may be footage from different cars being used.
@@adamchamberlain82 Thank you for your detailed reply. As Prado is a global model that every country has its own specifications and trim levels, I wish car reviewers could be more careful of what they are shooting and talking about.
Hello Can you make a full video of this car and the Land Cruiser Prado and the Lexus Variants? If possible it would be great to see Nissan Patrol and the Mitsubishi Pajero/Shogun The title says in-depth review but the video is only 7 mins long but you have other videos running for almost an hour.
Land Cruiser is not for those who will go shopping in supermarket with it on a daily basis. Being able to use it on highland roads in Iceland, this is still a true off roader
Valentino Valkaj thats the only downside if its your only car. Supermarket car parks plus parking anywhere would be an issue because of the size. I probably couldnt afford one of these anyway, so would more likely get a Subaru XV instead.
Even by now with this being 8 year's old...I would buy it in a heartbeat. Bulletproof reliability and I would choose it as a lifetime daily driver over any current EV garbage!😎
@@humphreybrogart8392 No, it's an outdated, un practical, 4x4 with awd, as is not the case with other 4x4, it is still in my opinion, a SUV,,,, with 4x4 capabilities, as very few intitled princess's would ever take this model over more than a small creek or dune,,, haha

What a great family car. It feels comfortable and safe. The space is good, the power of 2.8d is fine for a real life city or motorway driving. I drive a 2018 model mostly in London and am thoroughly happy with the vehicle.
You're a very funny man 🤣🤣 I know someone who used to do the pre-delivery check on SsangYong and they had to close the doors gently on them otherwise the door card would fly off 🤣🤣🤣
