But you will still be driving the centre diff, front diff and shafts, thats a lot of drag

Did you put any spacer in front of the side gear that you welded?? To keep the front side gear from falling cos u throw the other part (spider gear) that keep the front part from falling?? I also want to weld mine

No mate, it’s so long I can hardly remember but it is supported by itself even with spider gears removed

Pretty sure there's another way to do this without welding but ayeee looks good and your way worked just fine. Good video guys, glad you uploaded it!!

does the 7 pin mod need to be done to get the centre diff lock in a fjz80 Lexus LX 450 1996 and then I can weld this and run it like you have done.

It’s in one of the 2 videos, lock the front hubs and engage the centre diff lock to make it 4x4

What did you do about holding the front side gear in place? Or did you remove it?

James De Cleene it sits in its own bearing so didn’t need to do anything, left it as it was
