Thank you for these videos. The upper attachments of mine were hopelessly corroded - no way a hex key would counter hold. So just cut it off with a cut-off wheel in an angle grinder. Undid the lower nut first since I needed the upper part to counter hold. Had already gone medieval with the rears, necessary to get the struts out.
Thanks for this, but why did you change the drop links? There was obviously some surface rust but they didn't look too bad to me. I'm currently overhauling my brake calipers, so I'm having a good look at the suspension components while I have access to them.
