I couldn't figure out how to wire them so both colors amber and white could be used.

Got the lights installed as the video shows and the lights will randomly be on after I lock the car. Concerned about the battery. Pls help

Hi, you need to check which fuse was used to get the power for the raptor lights. In our case the fuse that we used only allows the lights to be on when the ignition is on. Different trims/years of the RAV4 may have slightly different fuses / electrical system. You can use the 12v circuit tester (AWBLIN Automotive Test Light 3-60V DC Digital LED Circuit Tester - amzn.to/3Y78Gpe) to find the proper fuse which, for example, only provides power when the ignition is on.

Hi, we have not installed raptor lights in the TC but, yes, the installation will be very similar.

@zwvl not yet, but im sure there is a way to modify a grill to fit the raptor lights. I have not had time to do anything to the car. I have a midpipe going in soon. And some other cosmetics that im on the fence about.

No, it won't kill the battery if you have raptor lights on while the car is running.

You must have used the fuse which provides the power all the time. You need to look for one that only works when you put the vehicle into accessory or ignition on positions.

Marker / daytime running lights. Make the vehicle more visible.

Large vehicles in the United States over 80 inches wide (Big Rigs) require three centered amber lights in the front, and three red in the back to denote that it's a wide boi from a distance. The Ford F-150 Raptor is 86.6 inches wide, so was the first consumer pickup to legally require the 3 lights in 2010. This led to a "fad" where offroaders would rice up their Toyota Tacoma with the lights. 😂 The fact that people put 4 instead of 3 is even sillier. What's funny is the 2019-2024 Rav4 is pretty freaking wide, about 73 inches, only 2 inches less than the Tacoma.

'Raptor Lights' are supposed to be 3 centered lights though. lol.
