Toyota RAV4 Oil Change (2019-2024) Full Tutorial Tips And Tricks 

Good thought there. Toyota didn’t give a whole lot of space around the oil filter. Amazes me sometimes that auto manufactures crowd that area.

The Toyota oil doesn’t test as well and in my personal experience with this car, it runs better with Mobil 1 versus the Toyota oil.

@@TorqueAndTwisted The test is verified with the original Toyota oil, the gasoline saving is great and with Mobil 1 it is not the same. I did my test with a hybrid Toyota.

You do you. Me do me. My '21 Rav4 (gas only version) gets better mpg and runs quieter with Mobil 1 vs Toyota oil.

I don’t see how there’s waste if putting oil in the filter? I’m putting the same amount of total oil requires in the car either way.

​@TorqueAndTwisted There's a video by Lake Speed Jr. On RU-vid that shows that prefilling the oil filter actually prevents wear. He actually shows what it does to an engine. So I will continue to prefill my filter
