I recently got a Supra MK3 and my struts are busted as well. So I bought two aftermarket ones, and when I was going to replace them I saw how ridiculously concealed the nuts are to take them out and you have to take the whole rear garnish or whatever to reveal them...so I got discouraged. It blows my mind why they did it like that. Anyway, I'll try this out and see if it does the trick!
Thanks, worked for me. Can't believe having owned my supra for 15 years with blown struts and propping up with a piece of wood all these years. Though the car mainly sits in the garage these days.
Yakuu Hawj push towards the front of the car. Just be careful and take your time. Try pushing with medium force and increase from there. Thank you for watching the video.
You have to push hard. I felt the same way. I tried like 4 times because I thought I was pushing hard enough but I was not. Make sure to push towards the front of the car.
Cesar, I was worried about breaking it, too. The first couple times I tried I didn't push hard enough and it didn't do anything, but later I pushed harder. I'd say try it and if it doesn't take, try it a little harder until it does work. Good luck, man!
