JGTC/Super GT , JTCC , Nurbugring 24h , Spa 24h , Le Mans 24h , japanese time attack , World time attack , Rally Gr A , ETCC , BTCC ... and i probably forgot a lot of categorie where Supra have race . And that's for MK4 ... MK3 & MK2 did many circuit/rally racing too !

Thanks for the trip back in time; I enjoyed watching the Supra when it was racing proper a decade or few ago. However, I'm referring to the present. We're all pretty well aware that the Supra earned it's reputation through it's outstanding racing pedigree and the bulletproof engineering. Unfortunately most of the Supra vids out there now are drag, drift, roll, and lame machinegun antilag. It's nice to see a rare vid of a Supra on a circuit again.

One Of Da Kind , Skull Supra or Jack Skeleton Supra. I'm not a fan of Supra Front Bumpers that have holes near the hood, but this can be something fresh.

This Toyota supra mk4 is TRULY a special car. It has SET the bar for TOP GT sports car. Because it's destroyed all GT / SUPERCARS. Still RAIN. ✌✌✌✌✌✊✊✊✊✊✊ now the new GR SUPRA is HERE. And it's doing just the same thing ( DOMINATE ).

Twin turbo is good, but NA race cars is always louder on race track

@@mohtaufiqurrochman9034 You aint gonna see a NA supra though, especially on track. Even road going cars are mostly single unless you get an unmolested car. Hence my comment - the power delivery on a 2j with the twin turbos and midrange torque is a real pleasure to drive.

4 years later, but that Supra is really outdated to any modern GT race cars today. If there's any indication, they could use the GR Supra. Otherwise, they (Toyota) currently build a GT3 car for the manufacturer as the RC F says goodbye for racing.

Yeah the Super GT/GT500 cars are all what run 4-cylinder motors. This one is a "GT2" car so it runs the 2JZ.

Vert344 The first year they ran at Le Mans they used the 2J in the GT2 class. After that they switched to the 503e race engine(Which the 3S is based on somewhat).

Depends, i think the JGTC/SuperGt series had more relaxed aero regulations than on GT2 so i think a JGTC/SuperGT would be faster in a lap

When they raced the supra in gt500 in japan they threw the 2jz in the junk pile and used the mighty 4t-gte and 3sgte because they could get more boost at the same bhp with less weight.

So strange seeing that engine in a GT car like that. Normally I am used to seeing like the typical velocity stack n/a 4 cyl, V6, or V8. It actually looks like it has some class hahahha instead of being an animal in a drag or drift car
