I am very happy to just stumble across this video! Nicely done and thank you very much for mentioning us :) Being a small family-run business, we strive to deliver personal service. We know first hand what its like trying to get real details about similar products made by big corporations. Most sellers simply don't know anything about the products and couldn't give you technical specifics if they wanted to. They are not truck people, they are just sellers. I know each and every one of our products inside out so please feel free to hit me up with any specific questions you may have. Thanks again Collum, and keep up the good work.
New Sub! I have a '96 T100 (purchased May 2000) and am planning to make it a little more off-road capable! It's not easy finding specialty parts for it!
I saw your video when installed the ARB BUMPER.. So my question is if I purchase one and comes with the brackets, it'll be a bolt on on my 96 t100 frame?
Unfortunately there are no "bolt" on ready bumpers for the T100. If you get the, I believe, 99-2002 100 series bumper there is a few guys that have welded on simple "L" brackets to the frame and used those as bolt on points for the bumper. I wish there was an easy way to get my hands on the various bumpers to show hand in hand what can be done.
Hi, which flares are the ones you put on your truck? Also, i see another brand listed on Ebay, or at least another supplier. They may be jungle flares sold thru someone else. Thanks!
I got extremely lucky and got mine from a scrap truck at a pull-a-part, so I'm not 100% certain what brand my flares are. Interesting, I just looked up the one's on Ebay. Interesting, I never found them before. They might be from another supplier that was bought out.
A lot of people do it for looks. In my instance I did it for looks and also since I put on a new tire / wheel combo on resulting in the tires hanging outside of the wheel well, the flares simply widen the wheel well helping to stop all the extra dirt and mud flying up on the side of the truck. Without the flares, I had mud and water flying in my windows all day.
