Toyota Tundra - Roof Drip Moulding Replacement 

Replacing the roof drip moulding on a 2008 Toyota Tundra Double Cab

Replacing your worn roof drip moulding is simple. First, at the rear of the vehicle, lift up the front of the "rear drip moulding" (there is a small retaining clip that holds this piece in place). This small piece of moulding anchors the entire strip the runs the length of the roof line. From here, simply pull up on the worn drip moulding to remove (the moulding is sitting in a channel--held in by a small clip at the front). Once you have this strip removed, you can now remove the rear drip moulding (if replacing) by lifting up and away from the roof line (*there is one small clip for this piece and a strip of adhesive tape holding it to the back of the cab). This is a perfect time to clean the channel with soap and water and remove any old adhesive from the channel...
Next, start with the bottom, rear drip moulding. Peel of the adhesive tape backing and firmly press it in the channel. Once the rear drip moulding is secured, take the side roof drip moulding and place it on the guide tab in the channel--at this time, press the rear moulding down on top of the side moulding locking the two pieces together. Pressing firmly, start from the rear of the roof and work the moulding into the channel. There is one retaining clip at the front of the roof line to lock the moulding in--and you're done!
