So overall those who want power and a driver's car must go for kushaq, seltos, creta or taigun And those who want mileage and toyota reliability can choose this.. right ?
@@An0nym0u5Snake i said from the view of common man not a driving enthusiast perspective..... I know kushaq and taigun are not compareble to seltos and creta....VW engines are purely for the driving enthusiasts
The review is accurate. Hyryder feels stiff at low speeds, feels underdamped as well at low speeds. in Highway it is comfortable. At slow speeds the vehicle has more side-to-side movement which does not feel great. It is not a dealer breaker though. The drive experience is super smooth at low city speeds, this is very good experience. Fuel economy is unrivalled.
Exterior styling works for the most part, but interiors are somewhat of a let down due to the part sharing from lower segment cars. As for the performance, Honda's hybrid system is better and has a better balance of performance vs mileage. The biggest question though is what's the price like, as that would determine how many Hyryders will be sold in this configuration.
Honda's hybrid drive system is far more advanced than this crap. Coupled with Maruti quality interiors, build quality and fit and finish, I personally won't buy this. However, in our country where everyone is obsessed with fuel efficiency, this would be a good seller. Those people will get the shock after 7-8 years when the battery needs to be replaced.
Possibly no, these vehicles come with mild hybrid support, the electric motor which gives an extra boost to the engine when a sudden acceleration required, and shuts off after a boost I guess, because of the small battery, some vehicles have a separate lithium battery, (MG hector plus has it) Actually when hybrids works, engine actually runs not shuts down as we seen on proper hybrid vehicles (hybrid Camry, hybrid accord, hybrid Prius etc, and some Lexus models, new city also, comes with proper hybrid but pricey) Proper hybrids gives more fuel efficiency on the roads since they use massive battery packs, But smart hybrid models gives only little extra.like, 5 kmpl or so.
@@suntzu1409 Doesn't matter what else it offers apart from being a strong hybrid? Mileage? Could have easily gotten 17kmpl mileage and decent power from a Diesel engine. 17kmpl Diesel engine for 16 lakhs you could get cars with similar features the strong hybrid is offering. The extra 10km efficiency of hybrid would save you around 2 lakhs after completing 1 lakh kms. By which you would be planning to buy a new car anyway and the cost of an expensive battery replacement will be looming over for a hybrid.
@@abykuruvilla 17 kmpl is not ""easily"" achievable from diesel or even petrol car. 17 kmpl is not highway or maximum range. Highway or maximum range is more than 20 kmpl. What 16 lakh diesel car has >20 kmpl highway/maximum range? It has got good enough ride quality, handling, features (like ventilated seats, USB-C and wireless charging) and quality of interior apart from being a strong hybrid A strong hybrid is a better reference for a strong hybrid than a diesel car
@@suntzu1409 @suntzu1409 28 is the claimed mileage and not real highway/city mileage either. It's all about the value proposition. If you're paying more for just fuel efficiency and the money you're spending in advance doesn't cover the benefits it gives then it doesn't make sense. Ventilated seats/wireless charging are the only thing that you may not find in the most 16 lakh range cars. But hp/Torque is something you would need more than those two and also being a hybrid system comes its overhead. You can't expect it to be fixed by a local mechanic if you're someone who likes to travel to remote places. More components to fail etc. etc. It would have made sense if the pricing was less.
@@suntzu1409 "17kmpl is not easily achievable" and then ending it with "even petrol". That statement just keeps on itching my brain like what were you thinking 😂. Petrol engines always have less mileage than diesel, so ending with "even petrol" sounds like you think petrol cars are more fuel efficient. Kia seltos the most popular car in that range gives you 14-17 kpml on the highway if you drive it on the right gear and if you don't floor it. I don't know man. Those two statements are so wrong, it popped up again in my head today.
@@sunilvarmadatla the hybrid makes little sense. The fuel efficiency is good, but there's no point in purchasing it over the K15C just for fuel economy, it's that much more expensive. If it was much more powerful than the K15C, it'd be a sensible choice, but the difference in power does not justify the cost. I think MS should've given it with a 2.0 L Naturally aspirated petrol engine.
What if manufacturers start producing cars with 1.2 or 1.0 ltr petrol engines with powerfull electric motors and that will only drive wheels not engines. Engines will used to charge battery of 2-6kwh and also we should be able to slow charge battery with normal charger(plug in hybrid).
Hello Toyota, In your many of the car's such as hyrider, innova and so on, interiors always looks black. This is not good once we entered into cabin looks dark. It should be other color except black. Please take this feedback and consider for your upcoming releases. Basically we like toyota cars in many perspective, but we always felt this interior black color we dont like at all.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 it's a Suzuki vitara heavily redesigned both exterior as well as interior. The chassis is Suzuki global C, there is nothing Toyota in the car except for the 1.5 bhp Hybrid engine that is shared with Yaris hybrid hatchback and Yaris cross.
The Hairdryer doesn't look bad, but you could put a Honda or Tata logo and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It has traded performance for fuel efficiency. But how many people will understand and value that?
these days other brands are giving 1000cc engines in 20L car.. you cannot expect much these days. BTW creta, taigun, seltos, kushaq - all offer 115pc only.
Totally disappointed as the design seems to be totally dominated by Suzuki and not the Toyota interior as well as exterior. The price is definitely a Toyota
