This is a demonstration of how to change your oil in a 2021 Toyota Venza or Toyota Rav4, they have the same engines.
Jack up your car using the metal cross bar underneath the front of the vehicle. Place your jack stands behind the front wheels to support the car so you can remove your floor jack. Remove the 4, 10mm screws holding the plastic cover which covers your oil pan. Place a plastic oil drain pan underneath the oil drain plug and use a 14mm socket to remove the plug. Once the oil has drained out place a new crush washer on the drain plug and use a torque wrench to tighten the drain plug back to 30 lb-ft. Move your plastic oil drain pan underneath your oil filter and using the oil filter wrench LOOSEN the oil filter and let it drain into the drain pan. Take your new oil filter and apply some of your oil oil to the rubber gasket on the new oil filter and then screw the oil filter on by hand until it is snug, then screw it on another 3/4 turn. Pop the hood of your vehicle and open your oil cap. Place the oil funnel in and pour in 4.8 quarts of 0w-16 motor oil. Screw your oil cap back on, replace the plastic cover underneath the car, lower your car back down and take your car for a test drive. Make sure the oil level is good and you are all set.
