Toyota Venza Rear Strut Replacement 

Tough video to watch, but good. I usually replace the entire strut, because usually the bellows are in pieces and it is tough to determine if the mount is ok or not Also it is far quicker. It is rare that small allen doesn't strip on the links because they are lock nuts and with rust, forget it. I always sell Sway bar links with that job. The torque specs are higher than you mentioned. The strut to knuckle bolts are 214 ft-lbs. The center nut on the mount is 41 ft-lbs and the 3 mount nuts are 43 ft-lbs and torqued in an L shape started at the most rear face nut.

I like your no-baloney approach. Some videos spend more time goofing around or giving useless back stories than actually showing the procedure. Good job.

Thank you so much for this video - replaced the first one no problem. Unfortunately, I stripped the Allen on the second with nut right at the end of the bolt. Can't loosen or tighten. What have you done when you stripped that Allen bolt? Replaced the whole bar? Welded the Allen key to the bolt? I was really feeling good after your video and replacing the first....thanks for any advice!

A lot of good info, but I had to stop watching and listen only because I got very sick to my stomach from all the jumpy video.
