Video 8 Of The Precision Rifle Reloading Series (Part 1 of 2)
My apologies for the delay in getting these videos out! The tuning process takes between 100-150 rounds of precision reloaded ammunition which takes quite a bit of time. The shop has been running full speed ahead on some awesome projects, so reloading took place as I had time.
As I mentioned in the video, I thought it would be a good idea to break this video into two parts. This first part I describe the tuning process and how this particular tuner brake, made by Harrell's, functions. The following video will be the results from this test which should be very, very positive.
If you have any experience with these Harrell's Tuner Brakes, please chime in and let me know your experiences in the comments section.

Cant wait to see your results. To some people, trying to tune and improve a load that’s already 1/2 MOA or better may sound insane, but I am all about it!!!!

For people watching this video the fundamental difference between the Harrels tuner and say the EC tuner is the Harrels tuner sits over top of the barrel whereas the EC tuner sits on the end of the barrel. This is why the Harrels can afford a full revolution to find the sweat spot and the EC style tuner turns in fractions of a full turn. No difference in final results just a different way of getting there although a slight slip with tuners on the end of the barrel can adjust the end result quite a bit vs. one that requires a full revolution.

To save a bit of ammo, if the groups open up at say 45, stop and go to the 51 setting and progress until change is noted. Take the ammo and retest in different atmospheric conditions. Make a note, because each rise and lowering of atmospheric pressure seems to play a part.
