I picked up a TQP3M9037-LNA off of the 'zons. Putting my RIGOL DSA815 Spectrum Analyzer & Tracking Generator through it's paces to measure the gain from this LNA.
Aye, another person did a pretty comprehensive review on Amazon, so I thought I'd try to replicate it here. This was also my first time doing this kind of test with my VNA so I wanted to get a feel for it. As soon as I remember where I put my LaNA I'll do a side by side.
Good presentation, now you just need a noise figure meter to really charactorize it! My measurements at 2304Mhz were about 18db gain with NF of .78? (noise head a little out of cal). Not bad at all for $15 device. Like ablaauw, would have like to have seen inside...
I would have liked to see what's is in the box. it looks nice, seems perfect for the Hackrf One. Just look further to see if anyone has already opened it so you can see what's going on inside.
