Literally Green Day's longest song and ya'll upload 30 seconds of it lol Cmon guys! We need the entire thing - the drumming on this is too epic for that little of a taste!!!!
@@henryisabeast4218 it blows my mind that a punk rock group is able to come up with multi part songs like Homecoming and Jesus of Suburbia. It’s like prog rock meets punk.
He's an amazing drummer. I'm not a huge G-D fan, or anything, but he's creative, relsxed, smooth, perfect drum parts for the music... I hope he had, and still is having a great time with a still relevant band
this guy is the reason i’ve been playing drums for 15 years. i saw green day when i was 11 and i got drums for christmas that year. the first song i learned was holiday. thanks for being a great influence, Tré!
Same here! I was 12 when i first started playing the Drums. 15 years later, and still going strong. Trè will always be my idol, and he is one of the greatest drummers around.
I was appreciate drummers that keep things simple and play it perfect every time. I get in the habit of writing harder and harder things to play and it makes tracking and performance higher pressure. Dudes like Tre and Dave Grohl always looking like they're sitting back having a good time while they perform.
@@sebg2086 Did you not watch the video? He played his drum solo from the first act of Jesus of Suburbia lol, it's not super long or extremely flashy, but it doesn't have to be.
This shows you how basic skills can take you far and make you sound good. i didn't see any super fancy stuff, but it sounded so full and good. I'm not a huge fan of his or Gday but i can still tell there is something good about the simplicity he brings. just like nick mason of pink floyed
My sister is the one who got me into Green Day. I was always more of a rock fan. I had the misconception that the punk genre would make the drums too simple. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least.
I can only imagine how much better guys like Tre cool and Jay weinburg would sound playing DW or Pearl. These SJC drum sets sound like a kit you'd buy in toys r us. They must have some great PR people working for them because they're kits sound like shit.
Funny to think that he became a millionare (also funny to think that Billy Joe must hate him and the rest of the band since he hates rich people) for playing the same beats for 30 years!
