With the latest TR-8S firmware update, Roland added new FM models that can also be used for creating synth sounds! For this occasion I created a custom FM Kit that you can download and use it for free!

It's my alley to make this type of music,and I also think it's the best representative yet,on the tube of what I think should be pushed more forward according to what possibilities TR-8S also is able to sound like, personally I think it demands even more skills to make this ,than just making a random beat and turn a few magic knobs. Very skilled job done here would love to hear more ❤

Yes, you can plug a midi keyboard and play my FM kit like a synth. The notes on the ext. keyboard do not necessarily have to correspond to the ones set in the kit though

I don't know if there's kit compatibility between the two. TR-6S has only 6 notes though... but the FM capabilities are the same!

Why is every Channel promoting the TR-8s now? 😄 Don't get me wrong I love this Drum Machine, but I am a bit supprized since it is already out a few years now.
