I was diagnosed in November 2020 by seropositive results. I have been taking Pyridostigmine XR 180 mg twice daily and have received IVIG 3 doses but no improvement on my diplopia. Ptosis is relieved by the pyridostigmine but only temporary. I am currently under the care of a neuro ophthalmologist and neurologist. EMG and RNS studies were negative but my chewing is now affected. My main concern is the diplopia. I cannot take prednisone due to previous history of GI bleed. Any suggestions on the diplopia? My neuro ophthalmologist said prism glasses will not help because of my unstable diplopia.

I think I have it ...any advice...I have no insurance. Who is predisposed? I started with strange trouble swallowing.. breathing slightly. I thought it was anxiety/asthmatic reaction ( although I only had one episode of excercise induced asthma prior and I was not excercising when this recent difficulty with swallowing happened ). I have suspicions of lyme. Too. Would like to have you look at my picture on Facebook ..I have aged in just a few months. Recently vertical diplopia. Varies from day to day..not going away...but drastically different levels of intensity. How to rule out MS and /or ALS ? So many questions .This video was really great . THANKS 😊

Hi Bonnie, we're not medical professionals at Conquer MG. Dr. Mizen practices out of Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. I strongly encourage you to see a neurologist.
