Excellent speech this young, artist gave. I am a big fan of Odd Nerdrum. I was among the many who was in disagreement with the verdict of being in prison. I am glad he is a free man again. I don't paint like him, but works in a realist-figurative classic style. I feel that technique and discipline is very important in the creative process. My images have to do with known and unknown technology, which had influenced and changed our perceptions of our reality. My work also deal with internal visions, with knowing, with sightings, with life after life, with past cultures and events yet to come. I deal with unsolved mysteries and so forth and that We are not along in the universe and that life and evolution is endless. Nothing stays as it was...My work is not commercial and is not created to please any particular trend or fashion. I am an original and my work is complicated to put together both technically and emotionally. Wyeth and Nerdrum had been the artists who had influenced me the most!

before coming across Nerdrum I felt very isolated with my Art values and love of the real Art masters. Contemporary art had absolutely no impac on me and looked very amateurish to me. Listening to your wonderful speech Brandon, and being aware of Nerdrum Art makes me feel that somehow we can climb back in status back to our Classical music cousins who have held onto their wonderful traditions. Someone once said Craftsmanship and artistic skills are like a relay batten you hand it on to the next person after you have had your run. It seems that the batten has not been passed onto anyone since the first world war. Nice to see someone has found it again

Great speech. I wish he didn't look like a biker or a Renaissance festival performer.
