Hey man good video . Putting a cage in my car and was thinking about running it through the fire wall and making the whole front end tube Chessie . Glad the other guy asked the question about classes. I may hold off for until next year now . Even tho i think I'll be in more street / track grudge racing then a certain class.
You'll save weight on that front end to not to mention a lot more ridged . It'll help to transfer weight a lot better. I'm sure ya'll probably know that . Anyway its gonna be badass .
Yes, it should shave about 70ish pounds. I mainly did it because the car was wreck twice in a 6 year time frame and a friend of mine that does body work said it would be easier tuning the front to get the panels to line up. Plus all the other benefits that come with tuning the front. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more.
Once lighting and all is done around $10,000. This is me sourcing my own concrete and electrician (family friend). I also opted for 12 gauge instead of 14 framing and a bigger door. Thanks and thanks for watching. Stay tuned!
