Man I loved this game as a kid. My best memory is playing a Tae Kwon-Do match with my buddies 4 year old niece who KO'd me with a single spin kick. I was probably 12 or so...talk about embarrassing!
Button mashing to the extreme! In spite of the fact that a turbo controller was a must to beat this game, I still loved playing. I can't help but think of this game when I watch the summer olympics, haha. As a kid, I can remember purposely beating the first day and selecting the hang gliding event. I would just sit there and listen to the music, wondering if real hang gliding really was as wonderful and carefree as the music made it seem. Fun times!
For the last upload of the week, it's time for a follow up to the original T&F, with Track & Field 2! Arguably a better game and much better soundtrack with Jun Funahashi giving us some rockin' DPCM drum samples in this Konami classic!
