One of my favorites from the late David Sanborn, a highlight for me off his 1988 album 'Close-Up.' I heard this many times on Atlanta's 'Jazz Flavours' back in the day. Other highlights from this album for me are "So Far Away", "Goodbye" and, of course, "Slam." May he rest in peace.

The years passed way too soon for Mr Sanborn. He had live performances on his mind in early April. Thanks for sharing this composition! 🎷

Always love Sanborn. Always underrated by the jazz "purists" but very versatile in his style. He will be missed, but so happy for the music he left us with.

We lost my favorite saxophone player; RIP Mr. Sanborn. I saw him when he played with the Marcus Miller Project opening for him, and later as his backing band...what a night! Your music will live on forever...

Hey, I read your beautiful tribute to him. Yes, will sorely be missed...the "real deal" and talk about a singular voice on his instrument! I was reminded how good he was too from revisiting the old Sunday Night/Night Music shows. Of course this is a beautiful tune. Rest in eternity to Mr. Sanborn. 🧡
