They make deeper transmission pans that hold more fluid and I believe you would have to get a deeper filter also. More fluid should help them transmission temperatures. I could hear the difference when everything was getting warm.
So, I do a lot of my own work on the car, cams was not one of them lol. I didn't have the time or tools to do it myself, I had a friend do it at his shop. My situation was a bit different though, my custom grind from Todd Warren is high lift, so I did cams, springs, valve guides, and a new Ford Racing timing set all at once, I'm glad (although expensive) that I had an experienced shop do it. The mufflers are "Total Flow" from eBay, I wouldn't recommend though, I blew out the fiberglass internals within like 3 AutoX events. I've since moved on to NASCAR style boom tubes.
