When the fronts get toasty and it's time to move in, having a clean ball that can turn the corner with conviction is key. Enter the Theorem, from Track Bowling. Armed with the high-powered HK22 base resin and a brand new performance additive, this ball has some serious flip. Ben's back to compare it to his current backend monster: Storm's Virtual Energy Blackout.

Good video. I used to use Abralon pads, but switched to using CTD pads. I got a variety pack. I use 3k for my pearls, 2k for solid and 1k for urethane. For me, it just blends out the energy to make the ball motion more balanced throughout the roll phases. Thanks for the content.

We appreciate the kudos! Thanks. And, yeah, it's amazing just how much versatility you can add to your existing balls with just a few sanding pads. Glad you've been finding success with it.

Great comparison! The on the fly cover tweek with the abralon pad did exactly what you described. Very insightful.

Looks like it would be a good compliment to the similar colored Proof Hybrid and a possible replacement for the Proof pearl? Great vid!! Keep it up!

Thanks! And yeah, I could definitely see it being pretty comparable to the Proof Hybrid... but with a more modern, more responsive cover.

My PSO drilled my Track Theorem, Perfect Mindset, and Infinity with the same layout of: PAP Left 5 Up 1 3/8 Layout 30 x 4 1/4 x 35° They all shoot straight. I can only get the Infinity to hook a tiny bit, if I rachet my wrist as far counterclockwise as I can. That has caused damage to my fingers, hand, wrist, forearm, and shoulder. Any tips to help those balls to perform correctly? Or do I need to start over with fresh balls and a fresh layout?

What's your rev rate and speed?
@GrumpaBaggins
@GrumpaBaggins 15 дней назад
@wsbproshop I'm not sure of my rev rate number, but I've been told that I have decent rev rate (whatever that means). Speedwise, I throw between 15 to 18 clocked at the pins. I did get my Perfect Mindset to start hooking some by taking it down to 2k grit. I have not messed with the Theorem's surface much, other than to polish it, but thinking that I might try cracking the surface today. It's been a great Spare Ball, though. Lol

What kind of lane condition is it for?

It's actually relatively versatile. You can use it on heavier oil when the shot starts to break down, or fresh medium oil

On a fresh house shot that's a bit longer and heavier than most house shots, on lanes positioned over a parking garage that chills the lanes an extra 20 degrees causing balls to sail at 7am. ;)

Would this ball be similar to the clone? Also a shiny asym.

Clone is actually a solid that comes shiny while the Theorem is a hybrid. Clone also is a stronger core. I wouldn't think they are too similar.

@terryrunion4282 ok .. thanks Terry !

While the Clone in of itself isn't too similar to the Theorem (solid vs pearl), you might still find situations when you'd use both balls in the same way. The Clone is pretty clean through the front, and can be pretty angular downlane, jus like the Theorem.
