Thats a killer, everyone on the islands best wishes to you, try to be safe. now i remember going to sleep at 11 pm one night and a cat 1 just upgraded from tropical storm was entering the Gulf of Mexico, i was awakened by my wife and she said the storm went cat 5, its name was Katrina and for the next 2 to 3 days we were scared to death, i live in Pinellas County.
I remember it travelling ashore as a Cat 1 in Miami and causing considerable street flooding especially in Homestead; a few days later I had to flee New Orleans!
You literally skipped the info about Tobago which is under a hurricane warning and Trinidad which is under a tropical storm warning orange alert.. you had it highlighted but never mentioned it. Is this prejudice against Trinidad and Tobago or a mistake that you forgot to mention or just a half baked report botched for views? Either way if you are going to give updates about a serious life threatening system the least you can do is get it right.
@@ColleenCampbellTV if you were trying to give the latest update you should have all the information at hand for your viewers. It was highlighted right there as all the others. Time constraint not supposed to be an issue especially when reporting on a severe topic as this. As a reporter you have an obligation and duty to give the best reporting to your viewers especially the ones who are in the danger zones. As a person from the Caribbean looking at this I would have said ok Trinidad and Tobago was not mentioned so all is good. When you do a job where the public depends on you for precise information you ought to atleast try your very best to guide the ones who are in the danger zones accordingly.
Gosh, get out of your feelings! The Island that are on the path already know who they are. At least she has u highlighted; you know how to recognise your country on the map. She never even highlighted Grenada and her islands, and they are in the direct path.
Did not mention Grenada and her islands. It wasnt even highlighted. The average West Indian knows how to identify their country on a map. Get out of your feelings.
Scientist have been warning us to decades. But unfortunately climate change has been politicized and no one takes it seriously until it’s too late. Gore told us this in 2000s during his run for president.
My Caribbean people we have to work together to make our lives better, here in Jamaica we change the way we're building houses, guys do the same, build good houses to fight off hurricane. One love from Jamaica please my people over in the Caribbean do everything you can to save your lives, when it is over we here in Jamaica will do whatsoever we can to help you guys. My thoughts are with you all ❤
Even if a hurricane is a cat 5 in the Caribbean and shrinks to a cat lets say 2 in the gulf overall its still a cat 5 without the wind at landfall in the usa
