MIDI effect available in the Waveform Pro edition. The MIDI Filter is found under Waveform.. Effects.. Utility from the plugin selector.
Use the MIDI Filter to define a zone by dragging the left and right arrows. This zone is represented by a blue area on the keyboard. Only notes within the zone are allowed to pass through. In this video learn how to use this tool to quickly separate upper chords from the lower bass line from a MIDI clips playing simple chords. Learn how to add the arpeggiator to make the chords more interesting. Then learn how to use a Plugin rack to create a live split from your keyboard controller into two different virtual instruments. Finally learn how to isolate the snare from a Step clip or MIDI clip, use it as a mixing effect or render it to audio.
