Tracktion Waveform 12 - Step Clips 

Nice tutorial. I love step clips. Great to see the new developments in 12.

Excellent. A couple of things that I'd like to have seen, and maybe there are ways to achieve this, are user defined midi trigger notes for each step clip lane. this would useful when using third party samplers and drum plugins. Also rather than randomly missing out hits, wouldn't it be useful to randomise the velocities such as in the triplet high hat roll in the video.

Thanks, educative video, but you forgot one thing. In the Midi Editor there is now an option to switch to a drum style grid.

Nivel tutorial! I was trying to figure out if step clips can be used por creating piano melodies as well.

When I start a step clip, there is no option to add a sound into the step sequencer and mine doesnt look anything like this. what am i doing wrong?

I'm going to upgrade to 12 but how about for 12.1 a "feature" where the plugin windows open in the middle of the screen instead of in the left corner? Every new plugin you create has to be dragged to usable part of the screen... IDK maybe I'm weird like that, but bitwig, reaper do that now, and pro tools at least leaves the plugin window where you last put it.

Hi. Nice vid. Is it possible to have the step Clip longer than one bar? When I tried to insert a step Clip with maybe four bars, it always reapeats the first bar in the other three. Am I missing something?

why my controls not working volume etc with stepclip some work some dont6 when i have more than one track with step clips

When converting step clips to midi clips, does the probabilistic triggering carry over or does it render and the midi notes become fixed?

I have number 11 and my major problem is getting my midi keyboard to respond and make a sound I see that it triggers I'm getting very frustrated I like the program what's a tutorials don't go in-depth this program seems relatively easy but for some reason I just don't get it

how do i change the piano sound of stepclips? it just randomly turns on and off, every time i start the program and do smth with stepclips its either the piano sound with its correct notes or normal sounds of what it supposed to be

Just a question. I have Waveform Pro 11. So will I get the features which come with Wavefrom 12 free?
