Nice drill compressor idea 👍 good video too... informative 💯👍. A guy I used to watch on RU-vid... I've been here long enough now 😏🤣😂🤣😂 I don't bother there anymore either. WHY WATCH THE REST WHEN YOUR SUBSCRIBED TO THE BEST 💯👍👌
The older Bolens really made a great lawn and garden tractor. Their Wisconsin engines were fantastic. I wished I had mine back but I don't. Bummer. Great job on this machine. Thanks for the videos.
It's unfortunate those jumper packs, are currently unavailable. Personally I can't really say anything bad about Tecumseh Engines, I've never had major issues with them. I know most people hate the backfire prevention solenoids, not me they have saved a few engines of mine in the past.
The 40+ year old Tecumseh HH-60 engine on my old Troy Bilt Roto-Tiller is still going, it does need a different carburetor, the aftermarket cheap Chinesium ones are pure junk...
The tecumseh engines are pretty good and thankfully most are still supported Lauson power products company purchased the manufacturing line and still produces oem tecumseh parts I like the tecumseh flat heads the best
My Deutz Allis 612 had an 801 in it. I modded it for our purposes and it seems really tough. Noisy but tough. Then I came across an mst-206 and I swapped that in for fear of breaking the 801. I keep it for a spare/backup but I'd prefer if I didn't blow it to pieces and keep the mst's for that.
I’ve had 2 of those boldens with the 5 speed manuals. One broke both axles at once. The other shattered the spider and ring gears. Both within 5 hours.
I have a 12.5hp Tecumseh on my Early 90s Dynamark that I use to cut my grass with it has been a really good engine. I don't think it's the original tho i do maintain it very well. Those plastic carbs were made so they don't gunk up from the ridiculous ethanol, and if you do have problems their super easy to clean and maintain. Thankfully mine does not have that ridiculous California contraption mine has the Phillip screws. I just wish it was a bigger engine, that's my only gripe. Awesome job as always RNCG. I LOVE THIS KINDA VIDS YOU DO
I think in the future I will hunt down a few of these engines and see if we can find some carb swaps. The intake is blatantly a briggs clone to the point I wonder if a carb would be bolt on.
Reminds me of the Bolens HT20 hydro that's a brute and I've seen used locally to replace the crappier newer MTD? Cub Cadet hydro on their front end loader GT. One of the odd ball to me... would be interesting to find for a great price or free. That 800 is interesting, seems heavy duty and flexible like the rest of the underside. Awesome air pump hack! Man, that alone deserves a RCG Racing pit crew Short?
Classic bolens that was the switch period when Troy built bought bolens in the mid 1980s that’s why the bolens you have looks like a rebadged Troy bilt in late 1990s mtd purchased the trot bilt and bolens line defeniltey a better tractor than what’s currently in the market but unfortunately most if any parts are hard to find or no longer available at all
I take it you don’t like the Kohler opposed twin engines considering your using them as a weight for the basket ball hoop ? I think they are good if kept up with on maintenance
So here in Maine we find them dead Dead all the time. Something about the way they are made they can not survive a winter or more outside. The ice in winter gets into the timing rod area and other things. Its why Oppy Briggs are far more popular up here.
enduros have cheap valves, switch them with head from a tecumseh that was in a dyna mark. put a slide carb with fat jets. nothing better than a 490 tecumseh. it is all i race
the ocelots on the back of my swing arm never stop spinning. i put that engine against anything around its size. everyone want to know what im running, you never an engine sound so nice. making the fuel tank vent bigger and custom air box . it likes air. and it was going lean after long uphill at full throttle. it was fuel vent. . building outboard bearings for the axle and input shaft are key to any build . thanks RCG
I just got one of those about the same time as you in North Jersey! Its got the Vanguard as well. Mines popping fuses as soon as you go to turn that key I have to run down this electrical issue. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3tYIJuNMdVU.html
Lets keep the list to some lesser knows I think are worth watching. SuperfastMatt, Alex Hiddert Originals, Midwest Street Cars, Garage54, Pakistani truck, And I do not think the channel will ever get big but Making for Motorsports I follow because small engine EFI is a long term goal of mine.
