One of the attractions at Whiteman Park in Perth, Western Australia, is the Tractor Museum. It contains over 40 tractors, agricultural and farm machinery, as well as rural memorabilia like tools, children's toys, housewares and photographs. In our video today, after an introduction, we will travel back in time to 2005 and witness the closing moments of the Museum's Open Day at Mussel Pool, before returning to the present (2023) to tour the Museum's Tractor Shed. We will finish our video with two short segments as we watch two Tractor Parades around Whiteman Park, seeing them in action as they pass the Cafe, and then close to the Railway Station. Once again a big thanks to Purple Planet for their music. Please support them at www.purple-planet.

Thanks for another great video Terry. My Dad who was a diesel mechanic for over 45 years will love this video.

Nice collection they have in the tractor museum, I took a visit there with the family in July of this year, I suppose that stubborn McCormack didn’t want to go back in 2005 because it wanted to stay in the sunlight.

What video camera are you using Terry?

I use two cameras. My main camera is a Sony FDR-AX53 Handicam, set to XAVC-S. The Ax 53 is a 4K camera, but because my Widescreen TV won't play 4K, I set it to full HD 1920x1080P, 50FPS. XAVC uses more of the 4k Sensor than standard AVC, so gives near 4K resolution. (My laptop is also happier at 1080P) My second camera is a DJI Pocket 2, (I refer to this one as my "Electric Toothbrush" which it has a passing resemblance to) also set to 1920x1080P 50fps (to match the AX53) I also have a rarely used "spare," a Sony X3000 action cam in a waterproof case which I use in wet conditions like rain or on a boat which splashes, set to the same. Cheers, Terry.
