T Mac was my 2nd favorite player behind Iverson. He was so good! Those injuries just killed his career and I feel bad for him. Could have been top 20 of all time.
Athleticism, size, speed, leaping ability, sweet handle, smooth jumper, mid range, inside, outside, doesnt fucking matter. Any way possible there is to score the ball, Tmac could do it. I may be biased because he's my favorite player ever, but I believe Tracy McGrady was the best offensive player the league has ever seen. That includes Jordan, Kobe, Lebron or whoever.

6'8 dudes should not be able to handle the rock like that. He was a monster. Switch him with Kobe and the Lakers when dominate for a decade. Try 7 or eight rings because McGrady would not have had an issue with Shaq getting the ball. Just never got help he needed to reach the height of a Kobe.

Let's be honest... prime McGrady slightly better than prime Kobe, right?? Only Kobe got to play with Shaq. By the time TMac got to houston and Yao, his body was already betrying him. But Orlando T-Mac and Yao? That's a championship right there. Of course, Kobe's prime lasted 15 years, while T-Mac's only 4 because of injuries. But still, man! what a player!

T-Mac put up some great numbers in his postseason appearances, he just never had the players around him to elevate them a little more. Sucks he retired in 2013 with the Spurs, only for them to win in 2014. He would have gotten his ring. T-Mac could have been in the GOAT conversation if he would have been healthy his whole career and played on a good team to reach the finals.

I never got to see him play 😢 but he seems to play like a 6’8 Ray Allen but with more athleticism. I wonder what would’ve happened if he played with a great team like MJ or Kobe and never had injuries. He’d probably play just as well today because he can score from anywhere which is very valuable these days.
