This was an awesome video. Thanks for taking the time to make this. It helps to see it go from A to Z so we know exactly what to do and what to be looking for, etc. BTW, that deal was a score! Good for you, you deserve to get great deals like that! Thanks again! You rock!
Tracy I love this video! It was really helpful to me! I found my own hot wheel fabulous find.. I hope it works out for me! Thank you for the great advice!
This video was very helpful as I sending in my first shipment to Amazon FBA and it includes toys with packaging like the hotwheels. Thanks for doing the videos!
It went great. I have since sent in two more shipments and each one has been bigger than the last. I am also putting together my first shipment of books.
Can you send in to Amazon a box of 100 different cars and have them separately listed, or would each car have to be sent in separate? Or maybe separate (itemized) bags with the same car inside, inside the same box? I haven't signed up so sorry if this is a silly question or if it doesn't make sense.
Thanks, Tracy. There are plenty of diecast forums that you may wish to join if you have not already. If the models are truly of interest (and its best to like if not LOVE what you sell), you can learn plenty of information by reading and / or participating in a forum. Cheers and good luck!!!
may i ask how you send your books to amazon do you cover them with those warning label bags? or wrap them ? or do you just send them in im new to this any advice will help thank you :)
Hi Tracy! I am very new to FBA. I actually just sent in my first shipment last week. I ran across a guy on Craigslist that was a former hot wheels collector and he just wants to dump his collection. He had about 200 cars, all unopened in great shape, all the cars where from the 1990's. He offered me the whole lot for $50. I bought it. I just want to flip these fast. If I offer them at $5.99 each how fast do you think i can get rid of them? What your average asking price for hot wheels? Thank you!
+rory614 It is item specific. You should scan each item and see the going price. You don't want to lose out on profit by putting a blanket dollar amount on each item. I had $99 hot wheels and $9 ones.
What size poly bag did you use? Can you post a link to the ones you use? I have not started on amazon yet. I am brand new to ebay and amazon and soo confused. You videos are very helpfull!! Also what other size bags do you suggest to start with.
EG would you take the time to answer some of the questions below, lots of great questions, would be great to hear your opinion. Maybe the video is really old but valid questions, it would be helpful, thanks!
My wife and I are just getting started with Amazon FBA. We're both a little overwhelmed and frustrated about the whole process. We'd like to build a business and learn how to make money. But we're not exactly sure where to start! We recently purchased the Proven Amazon Course. And that is helpful. Do you have any videos on starting out with Amazon FBA? This video is good. If you have any other videos that help us understand the thought process behind sourcing products, how to determine whether they are good products, etc. we'd love to watch them. Thanks for your help.
Man, you killed it with that hot wheel find. If anyone has ideas of items to search for on craigslist respond to this comment with them. So far n64 games seem to be much cheaper on CL than eBay. Any other items?
Great video! Thanks again for another educational video that I and others can actually put to use. I wanted to know if you know of a way to sell and send items to Amazon that do not have UPC codes on them like Frozen Dolls from China. I am looking forward to your response. Thanks.
+Angeles Velasco Amazon is really cracking down on knock-offs from China and I would be careful because Amazon has been closing seller accounts over this. Here is a link to creating a new listing, which is what you would do if the exct item wasn't in the daabase: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3cSYPQiMC7s.html
Hi there I was looking for someone who is selling hot wheels and boom I got you ,I like what you do ,I'm trying to become a vendor on Amazon but I'm having some issues. My Question is How did you get Brand Name from H-wheels I have tried everything to get ,no response..If you you got some TIPS 4 ME anything to help me out I would really appreciate it Thx ;)
I do use stretch wrap. I find that if you have more than one item stretch wrapped, it sticks together pretty awful in the box. Since I had a lot of Hotwheels, I went with the small poly bags.
Well, I learn something everyday from you - I have just started buying games/puzzles to add to my book sales, and this info comes in handy. Great video once again!` BobD- [grayelephantclub]
Inspired by your video, I typed 'Hot Wheels' into Craigslist and now I am the proud owner of around 6,000 new in package Hot Wheels and will have my cold, cold winters nights warmed scanning, labeling, packing and shipping them to Amazon! LOL! Thanks for the great video!
+MsLuvmusic81 fifty cents each. I'm finding that not all of them will go to Amazon. Some have issues with the card being bent but I should make a good profit on the ones I send in. It's going to take a while
Thank you lady for warning us not to by Hot Wheels from you! Each HW in my collection is collectible ! So putting a sticker on the back of an HW card & just sending it out? WOW! All I can say is thanks again for transparency.
don't put stickers on the cards, no matter how cheap you think they are. I collect Hot Wheels and would buy the same care from someone else just to avoid the sticker. There is so much more depth to Hot Wheels than just what car you think you have. Sometimes you think you have a $1 car that is actually a variation worth a little more!
+Erica Andrade Since I purchased over 200 of them, the rank was different on different ones. Since it was Qtr 4, I worried less about rank since I knew they would be great stocking stuffers. Turns out, I sold out :)
