The solution to the draw weight difference is to line up your draw arm elbow with the point of your arrow every time you draw and of course have a consistent anchor point and a straight back release. Enjoy! 🏹🦌

I am running Easton T64's with 100 grain insert and 125 grain head out of my 60# recurve.

A few thoughts. I dont know the exact details of your set up so I have to make some guesses, but most recurve produce about 40 ft-lbs of energy. A quick search on recommended ft lbs for the rage you plan on shooting is 50+. I'm not saying it won't work, but I am suggesting your trying to put a bandaid on a symptom of a bigger issue. If your having accuracy issues with broadheads, your tune, or form needs work. Based on the video, I'd guess you get inconsistent results because your release is a little plucky (I do not mean this to be disparaging). A better fix would be bigger vanes. 4x4" or 3x5" (assuming your bare shaft and paper tuning is good). Ultimately, you're the master of you're own destiny, so do as you please. But I think you're on the road to a bad time.

Nothing wrong with going the opposite way of most people. Keep us updated I'd be worried about penetration with a rage broadhead especially with you drawlenght and weight you shoot however I have no data using a mechanical out of a trad bow maybe you're on to something. Fixed blades should fly pretty close to field points have you done bare shaft tuning? Also shooting 3 under you need a soft knot tied just under your nock it will keep your arrow from moving

@@PazNthru iv actually got the QAD exodus flying super true with the set up I’m going to stick with this set up for this season at least

I mean heck just run a 100 grain montec broadhead and you will find much better success .

I'd try it on a cheap tag. Your shooting some where around 450-475gr I would guess at 52# I would definitely not shoot a mechanical. Your KE is gunna get sucked out at impact and your gunna wound what ever your shooting at. Speed/distance is irrelevant and a heavier, tuned arrow will perform better at longer range. Watch some tuning videos and bare shaft tune it. Shouldn't take a foot of vane to control a mechanical. Your setup now is setting you up for disappointment. The ranch fairy has some good tuning videos as well as some info on down range performance and how a heavier arrow will perform better than lighter at distance

@@budgetoutdoorsman1766 Iv got the QAD exodus shooting amazing out of the bow. So I decided to go that route.

Man I’m glad you are getting into traditional archery. But honestly you need to get with someone who has a lot of experience in that field. You got stuff all kinds of mixed up brother.. also the heavy inserts & tip weights on traditional bows is not because it is tradition. It is done for a reason. Your arrows are also overspined I’d be willing to bet. You need to bareshaft those & get them perfect. You don’t realize how much energy you are loosing by not having the arrow tuned to the bow perfectly. If it is tuned you can use a plethora of fixed blades and they will shoot just like field tips. The mechanicals are a bad idea. Trust me, if it were a good idea everyone would be doing it. Heavy foc is for a reason. You cannot just wing it like you can with a compound.. please for your sake and the animals sake do it right & get with someone with traditional archery experience.
