This is the kind of sobering discussion I like to hear. I am high on reed and pitts. Dynasty pending on roster size is tough. My question is. Do you think Reed can be a difference maker in a dynasty line up? Like a solid wr2? Maybe not this year but next year? Love reception perception. Or does this pend on a watson flame out? New sub here. Great content. You guys are pretty darn good! Keep up the consistency!
Thanks for the feedback Tyler and welcome the the channel! The Reed outlook is tricky just given there’s so many factors to weigh in. His rookie production and underlying metrics suggest the best is yet to come with him, but a crowded WR room, unsustainable TD rate, and him not being included in most 2 WR sets make it hard for me to buy into his current valuation.
Think the last part Aidan called out is the most important. Will Reed work his way into two WR sets. I think that will be the biggest way for him to go from “solid fantasy producer” to high value dynasty asset
@@aidanholler I totally understand the sell strategy as well. You guys may both be right. He had two tds in redzone work against the first team defense in training camp today while I was there. Won’t have as many receptions, but is going to be way more efficient because he’s never played with WRs like this. Nico was out today, so didn’t see him live. But I don’t think Stef lost a step. If he’s healthy all year, I would not be surprised if he finishes as high as WR 10. HES MOTIVATED.
