DEFINITELY COOK THE CRUST FIRST
Pizza Stuff:
Shopping List:
Pre made dough, either one works great
One tube Tomato Paste
One can Diced Tomatoes
Mozzarella
One Unexpected cheddar
That’s all I usually get from there.
Spices I use are:
Italian seasoning
Garlic powder
Salt
Pepper
Oregano
Onion Powder
Sugar (for the sauce)
Take the dough out of the bag and put it in a bowl to let it rise for 20 min. Or so.
In a blender combine the tomato paste and the canned tomatoes. Put the seasonings in the blender. These will all be to taste. Probably around a half tablespoon of each. Add in 1 tablespoon of sugar. Blend until it is smooth.
Preheat the oven to what it says on the dough package.
Roll out your dough to the desired thickness and put it on a pan. Place the dough on the pan in the oven for a few minutes until it hardens up but isn’t brown. Then take the dough out and put on the sauce you made.
Add the mozzarella and grade some of the unexpected cheddar over the top.
Add any additional toppings you would like.
Bake until it is crispy on the bottom and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
(Use flower when rolling or tossing the dough to keep it from sticking to surfaces)
You can put a sheet of aluminum foil over the pan if it isn’t a non stick pan or isn’t a pizza stone.
