Now I have a question, if I want to transfer a pokemon from my virtual console yellow pokemon game on my 3ds to my alpha saphire on the same console, do I have to do this with the pokemon bank? @@squeaks5677 I just did this this weekend, and it's 100% true. You need to purchase Pokemon Bank ($4.99 usd) in order to download Pokemon Transporter! If anyone hasn't done this, I suggest you get to it ASAP.
If you're asking if you can transfer pokemon from the VC and 3ds games into pokemon bank, then yes, you can. You can also transfer them back into the 3ds games, I don't think the VC games allow for this however, or transfer them even further into pokemon home.
