Esa es una de las razones de que me enamoré desde este hermoso país puebla es mi casa desde que estoy viviendo en México y estoy muy contenta en mi hermosa puebla❤🇲🇽
Mamma miaaaa! We wanna go to Mexico!!! Puebla has so much incredible food. That Mole, the Antojitos and those massive sandwiches at the end. Just wow! Can't wait for more Mexican street food videos. Keep up the great work guys :)
wow, as a poblano myself, i'm really impressed you guys hit all the right spots to get the authentic poblano food experience, most travel channels tend to fall for tourist traps, but you killed it. kudos for that, and i hope you enjoyed your time here
"antojitos Tomy"... A few meters away is the Congress of the State of Puebla, it is common to see congressmen and people from their work teams eating in this place... and a few years ago I had breakfast there with the then governor Melquiades Morales, what can I say, it is perhaps the governor, at least, most respected that Puebla has ever had... a very simple person and famous because... he knew the name of almost every person he saw (literally)... amazing ability The sauce they cover the "chanclas" with, is called "adobo"... and they are eaten with a fork and knife... but it's okay to get your fingers dirty... it's tastier that way... Puebla, along with the Port of Veracruz, are 4 times heroic cities and the most historic only behind the capital of the country... Puebla became the second most important city in New Spain, built exclusively for Spaniards... The "haute cuisine" that gave rise to mole and chiles en nogada and at least 20 other dishes, as well as the "dulces" that you tasted... is called convent cuisine, because they were created by the nuns of Puebla... The convents where mole and chiles en nogada were created, those considered "national dishes"... which are the convent of Santa Rosa and the Convent of Santa Mónica, today they are museums and can be visited, they still preserve the original kitchens of the XIX century.. "tortitas de Santa Clara " come... from the Convent of Santa Clara... and the sweet part is ground pumpkin seeds with sugar
Yes, we found it fascinating as well all the unique dishes to come out of the convent kitchen at Santa Clara, it's quite amazing. Such delicious dishes and the cuisine revolves around it. We agree, it's always tastier to get your hands dirty 😅😋 Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@HungryTwoTravel if you can, visit Mariscos Maclovio, the best home made seafood from Veracruz here in the city. At the north of Mexico City my brothers, in Vallejo avenue, cheers!
You guys did it again! Great video, interesting to see how different the food is here in Puebla compared to Mexico City. I could totally go for that cemitas right about now, that sandwich was huge! The cheese and meat and avocado, omg everything looked just so good on that. Maybe I'll have to try and make one myself... you sure made it look tasty Chris! Thanks for the food adventure you two, love the voiceovers, great info.
We really did 😅 what an incredible dish! The flavours are just incredible, we loved it, no wonder it's one of your favourites, it's one of ours now too!! Thanks a lot for watching and commenting :)
Hello to you both this week! Another great video in Mexico, such interesting food. It's nice to see other cities in Mexico and how their gastronomy compares to Mexico City. Poblano food looks incredible! The mole, such a deep dark color, it looks like melted chocolate 😂🍫. I would love to taste that one day as I love sweet sauces! The giant sandwich at the end as well, holy smokes! That cheese looks so stringy, I've heard that the Oaxaca cheese is next level cheese, and they just pile it on top of that sandwich, what monster of a sandwich like you said! Shoutout to the nice restaurant owner and her family at the beginning, she looks so lovely and pleased that you guys loved the food. Keep up the awesome videos!
Thanks so much for watching and commenting! The food in other cities is definitely different than Mexico City, glad you enjoyed it 😊 we think you would enjoy mole! It's such a delicious dish, and Oaxaca cheese is truly on another level, it's our favourite😂

HI THERE GUYS!👋 I WAS WONDERING WHEN YOU WERE GOING TO BE VISITING PUEBLA CITY!🤔 MY HOMETOWN!😁😍😅😂😉😋 I'VE BEEN FOLLOWING AND WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS SINCE YOU'RE IN MÉXICO🇲🇽💓🇨🇦 I HAVEN'T COMMENTED IN JUST BECAUSE, BUT SINCE NOW I WILL!...😜 I HOPE YOU'LL ENJOY YOUR TIME IN PUEBLA AND IN MÉXICO IN GENERAL! Hello! Thank you so much, that's very kind of you. We've been really enjoying our time here so far and have felt so welcomed by everyone we've met. Thanks a lot for watching and for your comment 😊
I’m glad that you guys tried the chanclas. When I was younger my aunts would only made them for Mexico’s Independence Day. They were my favorite dish of the day. Now we can all agree that Puebla is not just one of the prettiest states but also has great food 😊 I enjoyed your video because you took me back to my childhood with all these dishes that I haven’t had in years, except for the mole. I buy that one here in the states at Walmart but 🤫 😂😂 Awesome video and I wish you both the best!
omg Steph is funny hehe eating her cheese, thats alot of cheese, i actually like mexican cheese it just has a different texture an i like that its thick.. i loove mole, i had one at this restaurant in Sta Cruz Ca where they make everything with chocolate..
hello guys! I am from Tlaxcala and i gotta tell you you made me hungry by just watching you eating all that food, you guys are still missing a lot of foods, not all food in México is tacos or quesadillas chicken pork or beef... there is also soups like menudo, pozole or mole de pipian, mole de olla, barbacoa de borrego and consome, tamales such as mixiotes or even blood tamales, and one if my favorites huitlacoche (corn mushrooms) usually eaten in tacos or quesadillas and thousand more things such as maguey worms or also ants... Ana pulque the elixir of the gods, I can go on and on and on. :)
Oh yes you're right! There are so many dishes to try and you'll have to stay tuned, because we have lots more time here in Mexico and we plan to taste as much as we can 😉 Thanks for watching and commenting, glad we could make you hungry ;)
The cheesy, chicken molotes looked amazing! In fact, everything looked so delicious 😋👍! Loved the way you show the beauty, history and culture of the city as well as the food The people are so friendly!
hola yes you know how to eat mexican food just like a mexican enjoying the flavors to the max getting all those juicies on your hand and leaking off your hands YESSSSS thats the mexican way pls enjoy mexico do not forget mexicans and mexico itself we love you both
Greetings, Hungry Two! 😊 I guess it is another "success-full" and belly happy episode as I have seen in this episode. 😊 Those that really caught my attention are the huge sándwiches, the chanclas and the cemitas. The stringy cheeses looked very tasty too. And I guess I have to mention how delightful you two look about trying those boozy sweets. I really like Steph's advice, "The best way to experience the city is to wander and explore the many ancient streets and admire the architecture as you stroll from one tasty food to the next". 🧡✨️ Enhorabuena, buen provecho y nos vemos en la próxima comida. See you two next meal. ✨️🫶🏻🫰🏻😊
Hey Cris! Thanks for the comment and for watching, you chose some great food that we had in the video 😉 the boozy sweets were so tasty!! We wish we had gotten more😆 but everything has been amazing in Puebla so far. See you next meal 🙂
I’m completely lost when it comes to all the names of the dishes that you both have tried in all your Mexico travel videos - 😂 but I think I can just point or gesture wildly and everything I end up getting will be delicious in any case!
Haha pretty much Feng! Just follow your nose and you won't be led astray in Mexico, there's such good food everywhere you look! Thanks for watching and commenting 😊

Puebla has the same variety of "antojitos" or "garnachas" as CDMX... but it has more variety of local food... so it far surpasses CDMX... the most consumed variety of tacos in the world "el taco al pastor" has its origin in the "oriental taco" of Puebla... Not to mention "haute cuisine" the two most representative dishes of Mexican gastronomy... "mole" and "chile en nogada" were born here, in the convents of Puebla... the molotes the tostadas tacos árabes the tacos placeros the chalupas the chanclas the pelonas and others The cream (it is not sour cream, in fact it is even a little sweet) has some functions, softening the spiciness, neutralizing the excess salt or even neutralizing the heat a little... Here's the secret to why chicken is so "jiuce and fresh... and tender": In the central part of the country, chicken is consumed in stores that specialize in it called "pollerías." That chicken that you are consuming in the various dishes that you tasted in CDMX and Puebla, was most likely alive a day before... Thanks to the climate of central Mexico, the chicken is preserved at room temperature... In contrast, frozen chicken from supermarkets (as consumed in the USA) can be frozen for several days, this means that the cold burns the cells; This causes the flavor to be lost and meat that has been in a refrigerator for several days can begin to necrotize... That's why in this part of Mexico, "fresh" chicken, which means "chicken of the day," is consumed more, that is, it was slaughtered a few hours before it was consumed... In the southern part of Puebla, there are huge farms that supply the state of Puebla and the capital of the country (CDMX) with fresh chicken meat... the same goes for beef, vegetables... everything is literally fresh In Puebla, what you did when you bathed the molote with both sauces and the cream, we call it "flag" when we eat "memelas" or molotes and the person who serves asks "what sauce?" we say "flag" and they know that it should have both sauces... and cheese You know, because of the colors of the Mexican flag ... red sauce goes best with "antojitos" that contain beef or pork... green sauce with everything else It's a matter of taste... but if the cemita is ordered without spicy, but bathed with chipotle vinegar... it tastes much better... because that type of vinegar is sweet but not too spicy, the flavor it provides on the palate it is very good
Wow thanks for your amazing comment and suggestions, as well as info! You can definitely tell that everything tastes and is so fresh here in Mexico. It's noticeable in the flavours of the food. Puebla is quite a city for inventing some incredible and unique dishes. Stay tuned next week for more ;) Thanks for watching 'Walking Puebla' 😉
@@HungryTwoTravel welcome to the most beautiful city in the country (and whit the best cuisine) you have to try "his majesty" the "taco arabe" whit, lemon, salt and "salsa árabe" not green salsa, just "salsa árabe" which is the red salsa prepared exclusively for this type of tacos
Yes it's a cemita, but in English, it is a sandwich. Not to mention that Mexico is located in North America, so with your reasoning, it would still be a sandwich 😉 Thanks for watching!
